omission from earlier post

Gene also bet all his points on Yau Man. Elaine bet 111 on Earl. These changes have been made to the post below. Sorry about the confusion. Y'all need to get a new pool administrator for next season... :-)

May 10th Update

Good evening all,

The show just ended and we're down to our final 5. Kim M. Had another impressive scoring week with 21 points. Strong, but not enough to prevent Ed from winning our 'regular season' prize for the highest score prior to the season finale. Gene also had a strong week with 15 points, as did Beverly & Leanne with 14 each. And the big news: Carnie pulled herself out of last place with a strong 13 points, leaving that "honor" to be shared by (ahem) me and Lois. It may be time for me to whip out my Hidden Pool Administrator Scoring Immunity Idol and play it...
The total points in the scoretable here are what you have available to wager on which of the final five survivors you think will win the show. If you 'bet everything' on a remaining survivor and no one currently ahead of you bets on that survivor, you have a chance to move into the lead and win the overall first prize.
REMEMBER - the finale is this sunday night at 8pm. You must submit your wagers to me by noon on sunday or we will assume you do not wish to make a wager. Sometime after noon on sunday, I will post to the blog again, listing everyone's wagers so that we may watch the show sunday night with that knowledge.
Good luck to all. It's been a fun season!

The Tribe Has Spoken: Week 12 Update

Hi All,

OK, I missed the episode thursday & don't know if I'll have a chance to watch it on line, but I got the cliff notes version and have updated our scores. Kim M. was our top scorer this week with 20 points, getting just about everything right except not having Alex among her weakest. (Only Shanna had Alex as weak). Gene was our 2nd highest scorer this week with 15. Ed still leads and checked in with 14 points, as did Beverly, Kenny & Leanne. Lois is finally out of last place as she and I are just barely ahead of Carnie's 104 points.

Has anyone heard about the finale being broadcast this sunday as opposed to the 20th? If true, they must be accelerating the councils somehow. Let me know if you hear anything. If this sunday is the final, every pool player needs to submit their 'wager' on who they think will win before Sunday at noon.

Below are the updated scores.

Spoken: Week 11 Update

OK, folks... "Instant Scoring Update" this week. So there!!! :-)

Finally! A chink in Sir Edwin's armor as one of his strongest is voted off. That makes Ed and pool rookie Kim M. our only two pool players with 4 strongest remaining. Kenny & Tim were our high scorers this week, with Darren and Kim M. close behind. Below is the updated scoretable. Good Luck to all...

Week 10 Update

Yau is 'dominating' the game... just like Ed is dominating the pool!

Ed continues to lead (yawn....). Ed was our top scorer for the week; Ed still has his strongest 5 intact; Ed is the only one with all 5 of his weakest voted out, blah blah, blah, yada, yada, yada.... :-)
Other respectable scores this week were posted by Leanne, Nadea, Beverly & Margaret.
Below is the updated scoring table; you know the drill...

The Tribe Has Spoken: Week 9 Update

Hi Everyone,
Ed continues to dominate. He is the only player left that has an intact strongest 5 and is also the only player with his entire weakest five voted out. Gene moves into a second place tie with Kim M. & Tim.
Below are the updated standings. You know the drill. You'll forgive me if I'm not inspired to try to write anything humorous this week. After all, I was the low scorer for the week, and, as if that weren't enough, they voted out my favorite survivor...
Happy viewing!
